TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Pricing: Prices displayed are in Fijian Dollars only and are per person. All prices include 15% Fiji Government taxes (Value Add Tax). Prices listed as ‘Twin/Double’ are per person based on two people sharing a room or bure and those listed as 'Triple' for three and 'Quad' for four.

  2. Donation: The mandatory contribution to Vinaka Fiji Projects must be paid at the time of booking or on arrival at Port Denarau unless alternative arrangements are agreed to.

  3. Transfer Cancellations: Vinaka Fiji reserves the right to cancel departures, alter prices, apply a fuel surcharge, arrange alternative transport and vary services as necessary. All transfers and projects are subject to sea and weather conditions and operational requirements. Should adverse conditions prevent operation the customer is responsible at their own cost for their own additional accommodation wherever it may be and/or alternative travel arrangements not organised by the company. Vinaka Fiji shall be the sole judge of when transfers or projects should not operate under this clause.

  4. Children, Schools & Education Packages: All participants in this package must provide a police clearance check or ‘Working with Children’ check from their country of residence. Copies must be received along with the completed registration form at least two weeks prior to commencement of the program.

  5. Age Restriction: Programmes are open to people aged 16 years and older. If under 18, guests will need to have filled in a Parental Consent Form at the time of booking in order to participate.

  8. School Holidays: During school holidays in Fiji, an alternative education program will be conducted in the village. School terms are available on request.

  9. Briefing: All participants are required to attend a briefing prior to Saturday's departure. We recommend participants arrive in Fiji at least a day prior to commencing their Vinaka Fiji package (i.e. Thursday or Friday) to ensure you are able to attend the Saturday morning briefing at Port Denarau, before boarding the Yasawa Flyer and travelling to your base camp resort at Korovou Eco-Tour Resort or Mantaray Island Resort.

  10. Complimentary coach transfers: These are available for direct transfer after disembarking the Yasawa Flyer from Port Denarau to Nadi International Airport if departing on the evening of your return back to Nadi. This must be booked in advance.

  11. Liability: Where another company or persons operate the tour, activity or excursion, diving, accommodation or shore transfers Vinaka Fiji is only acting as a Sales Agent. Responsibility for the operation and liability for any mishap lies with those operators solely and not with Vinaka Fiji. Vinaka Fiji is not responsible for missed flights or any associated expenses due to late arrival at airline check-in counters.

  12. Visa requirements: It is the responsibility of all customers travelling with Vinaka Fiji to check and adhere to Fiji’s visa requirements.

  13. Travel insurance: There are very limited medical facilities accessible in the Yasawa Islands so if any medical problem arises you will likely need to return to Nadi. If you develop a serious medical problem, you will most likely want to leave Fiji. Sea conditions and sometimes adverse weather can prevent travel on the booked dates as well. It is therefore an essential condition of travelling with Vinaka Fiji that you have a valid travel insurance policy to cover the cost of any emergency medical treatment or accident and to protect customers in the event of a cancellation or delay.

  14.  Booking and Cancellation Policy:

    1. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve placement on the programme with the balance due one month prior to commencement. Bookings will not be confirmed until full payment has been received.

More than 1-month notice prior to commencement of travel: No charge. More than 24 hours notice FJD$20. Please note that amendment fees will be added to any amendment/cancellation fees imposed by the resort(s) affected.
